Education:Dr. Menton received his education in music composition at the University of California, Los Angeles (PhD), the University of Southern California (MM), and the California State University, Long Beach (BM). Prior to his pursuit of music, he earned degrees in Comparative Literature from Cornell University (MM & PhD), and a degree in English from Stanford University (BA)
Research Interests:Dr. Menton has been on the faculty at CSU San Bernardino since the fall of 2010. His specialties include Composition, Music Theory & Analysis, and Ear Training. He is also interested in the relationship between music and the other arts (visual arts, literature, and dance).
